Our hedge funds only earn fees when the investor’s account value exceeds previous highs at the end of a quarter.

Our Trading Platform

Arborhaven uses Interactive Brokers of Greenwich, Connecticut, as its trading platform. IB is an award-winning organization which “conducts its broker/dealer and proprietary trading businesses on over 100 market destinations worldwide.

In its broker dealer agency business, IB provides direct access online trade execution and clearing services to institutional and professional traders for a wide variety of electronically traded products including stocks, options, futures, forex, bonds, CFDs and funds worldwide. Frequently Asked Questions

How are we paid?
If the quarter is profitable, fees are calculated as a percentage of profit earned using a twelve-month lookback. If the quarter is not profitable, no fees are deducted.

There are all kinds of risks. Inflation can reduce purchasing power. Governments can change laws. Events that occur outside the stock market can drastically affect your investments. How vulnerable are your investments to Off-Market Risks? If they are not in a cash equivalent, the answer is “very”.

Most investors are familiar with the desire to diversify their investments. Avoiding the risk of putting too many eggs in one basket is one way to limit losses if a particular area or product has disappointing returns. Most investments have fluctuations in their value; given enough time, many recover their losses and go on to post great returns.

The key phrase there is “given enough time”; many investors – particularly those in or near retirement – are uncertain what amount of time may pass before the investment may need to be liquidated. Furthermore, the current valuations for the markets as a whole could be considered “expensive” by historical standards. Investing now may not be wise given current valuations, and a market correction might take years or even a decade to recover.
